Drawing on her background as a graphic designer, Pascale Fey approaches painting as a means to give form to her internal world of phobias, obsessions, and dreams. Her process begins by covering each canvas with a dark base, over which she gradually layers color to create luminosity, allowing light to emerge from darkness. Fey sees the artist as a researcher and embraces experimentation with color, tools, and techniques, refusing to set boundaries on her creative exploration.
