Her practice moves between abstraction and impressionism, with recurring subjects including water, coastal scenes, sailboats, and plants. Alongside her visual work, she has spent three decades as a technical writer and publication and website designer, earning recognition in those fields. Now based in North Carolina, Donleycott teaches watercolor painting at a senior center.
