Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts de Lyon and a graduate of the École supérieure Estienne des arts graphiques in Paris, Bruno BISI brings a background in illustration, color design, set design, and art direction in animated cinema to his painting practice. For over a decade, he has dedicated himself fully to painting, working with colored inks, art chalks, and acrylics on heavyweight raw paper, which he mounts on canvas. BISI’s large-scale works combine vibrant natural forms, plants, and everyday objects, merging color, contrasting textures, and layered materials.
