Zion Ezri, born in Jerusalem in 1971, is a self-taught artist known for 3D wall art and sculptures that merge historical references with contemporary design. After moving to London as a child, Ezri developed an early interest in design while adapting to new languages and cultures. He later studied in New York City, earning a Bachelor of Science and connecting with the local art scene before returning to Jerusalem, where he opened a gallery and collaborated with other artists. Ezri also holds a law degree from Bar-Ilan University. His recent work, created during the COVID-19 pandemic, features recycled metal and wood, reflecting influences from Bauhaus, pop art, and ancient Hebrew script.
