Working from his Normandy studio since 2024, self-taught artist Antoine Goddefroy draws on a background in furniture and lighting design to create paintings that move between abstraction and instinctive figuration. His work combines minimalism with structured forms, using flat fields of bold color, geometric shapes, and open architectural motifs to suggest contemplative, silent spaces. Goddefroy’s seascapes and scenes of modern architecture—often marked by solitary figures—reflect a calm, meditative sensibility. Although he only recently began offering his paintings publicly, his work has already attracted attention, including exhibition at the Art Capital 2026 International Exposition at the Grand Palais, Paris.
