Trained as both a dancer and artist, Anna Pocher holds a degree from the Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti in Turin. Working with classical oil painting, drawing, and paper collage, she creates expressive compositions that combine everyday imagery and visual communication. Pocher’s paintings and collages are rooted in an intuitive approach to composition, guided by considerations of emptiness and fullness, form and space, and the interplay of color. Themes of sensuality, subtle humor, and the ambiguities of perception run throughout her work, reflecting a lifelong engagement with observation and movement shaped by her experience as a choreographer, teacher, and artist.
