After earning a degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, Anguilla spent ten years in Dublin, initially pursuing a career in graphic design. A chance meeting with emerging rappers from Dublin’s underground scene in 2015 marked a return to art and the founding of the alias "Anguilla." Blending figurative elements with influences from pop art and surrealism, Anguilla’s work seeks to probe what lies beyond everyday reality. In 2025, her art appeared in "100 Emerging Artworks 2025" and "Women on the Rise – 3rd Edition," both published by Arts to Hearts Project. Since March 2026, she has joined Sonia Borrell’s Studio To Gallery artistic community.
