Born in Viña del Mar, Chile and raised in Buenos Aires, Andres Agosin (Monk) works as a graphic designer, art director, and artist. He is the founder of Göoo and 1:100 magazines and belongs to a generation of artists extending their practice beyond galleries into street art, live interventions, and object customization. Active in Argentina’s street art scene, his murals and paintings appear throughout Latin America, Mexico, the USA, and Europe. Combining influences from pop-surrealism, cubism, and modern architecture, Monk’s work is marked by bold color and the interplay of geometric and organic forms. His art has received critical recognition and has been published in books and magazines internationally, including in Australia, Brazil, China, and England.
