Amalia Cavallaro is an Italian painter whose practice centers on PsicoStrappage, a technique of her own invention that brings together drawing, collage, and material gestures. Educated in scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Cavallaro constructs images through fragmentation and recomposition to reflect the complexities of the human psyche. Her works engage with fears, memories, and desires, moving between harmony and disorder to suggest liberation, renewal, and self-reconnection.
