Alejandra Repetto Escardó is an Argentine-Uruguayan visual artist whose practice combines geometric abstraction with landscape through painting and photography. Drawing on the constructive tradition of the Río de la Plata, Zen philosophy, and Andean cosmologies, she uses geometry as a symbolic language to investigate transcendence, infinity, and the perception of space. Her work frequently attends to themes of emptiness and the horizon as perceptual thresholds. Repetto holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Arts from the National University of the Arts (UNA) and pursued graduate studies in Argentine and Latin American Art History at IDAES-UNSAM, focusing on the impact of Zen thought on Argentine abstraction. She has had major solo exhibitions at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Raúl Lozza, MACLA, and MUMBAT, and her work is represented in collections throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
