Aisylu Burangulova (AYZA) is a contemporary artist based in Piraeus, Greece, whose luminist and neo-impressionist oil paintings take the sea as both subject and metaphor. Originally from Russia, she studied painting and graphic arts before relocating to Greece in 2018. Drawing on themes of light, movement, and emotional presence, Burangulova’s seascapes reflect a hedonistic philosophy rooted in Ancient Greek ideas of freedom, simplicity, and joy. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is included in private collections throughout Europe and Russia.
