Adriano Scarano

Italy

Credentials

  • Works on commission
Adriano Scarano (b. 1998, Mottola, Taranto, Italy) is a self-taught painter, illustrator, and digital artist. Working primarily in oil on treated cotton canvas, he also experiments with acrylics and draws in pencil, often obscuring faces to draw attention to posture. Scarano’s practice centers on introspection and emotion, expressing empathy for loneliness, sadness, and fatigue. His works have been shown both online and in venues across Italy, including Martina Franca, Monopoli, and Florence. In addition, his painting "Guy 451" was featured as the cover of Cosimo Scarano’s book "Il fermo proposito" (Algra Editore).
