Aleksey Ovsyannikov (b. 1986) is an artist whose oil-on-canvas paintings draw on formal training at the Art School in Soligorsk (1996–2000). While grounded in traditional technique, his work adopts a contemporary approach that explores changing ideas and emotions through a flexible visual style. Ovsyannikov’s paintings reflect on the fleeting nature of perception and sentiment, using modern methods to evoke a sense of transience.
