VESNA GARIC

Working with stoneware and porcelain, Vesna Garic creates sculptural ceramics that merge traditional methods with gilding and Japanese lacquer. A graduate of the Arts et Techniques Céramiques school in Paris, she came to ceramics following a career in finance and time spent in Southeast Asia. Garic’s pieces are defined by their attention to balance, light, and contrast, and often consider human fragility, the complexity of identity, and the expressive potential of cracks. Her work invites tactile engagement and evokes a strong sense of introspection.
