Romy Regal creates gestural abstractions shaped by the influences of Haute Couture, Jazz, and Hip-Hop. Her practice pursues a balance between precision and spontaneity, resulting in dynamic compositions where movement and emotion guide the form. Each work is made in the moment, generating a distinct energy that actively engages its environment. Regal’s approach includes immersive experiences such as Les Clés d'un Songe (Paris, 2021), which combined visual art with sensory perception and altered states of consciousness. Based in France, she situates her practice at the intersection of refinement and instinct.
