Olga Ben Zur

Working primarily with oil, acrylic, and texture paste on medium-sized canvases, this contemporary Israeli artist approaches painting as a process of self-examination deeply connected to personal history. Born in the USSR and based in Israel since 1996, she began formal painting studies with professional artists in 2017 and earned a degree in contemporary art in 2025. Her ongoing project, "The Fragility of Goodness," unfolds over multiple series, with each work characterized by layered textures created using both brushes and palette knives. Since 2021, she has been active in international competitions and exhibitions, is a member of the Eurasian Union of Artists and the Union of Sculptors and Artists of Israel, and has work held in private collections in the United States, United Kingdom, Israel, and Russia.
