Nora Boulesnane creates instinctive, multifaceted works that reflect on the paradoxes of the human condition. Drawing on the psychology of Carl Jung and the concept of the collective unconscious, she uses varied materials to build thematic collections that trace personal growth and self-discovery. In her studio, Boulesnane’s process is raw and unrestricted—painting with knives, brushes, fingers, or rags, and reworking surfaces with improvised tools to inscribe motifs. Her practice rejects a fixed style, favoring spontaneous, diverse approaches in both therapeutic projects and purely impulsive pieces, always led by an unrestrained freedom of gesture.
