Liuba Delavigne (María Diéguez) and Javier Torres, both born in 1954 in Madrid, collaborate from their home city. After studying architecture and biology, which they did not complete, they shifted focus to decorative arts at Madrid’s I.A.D.E. institute, specializing in decoration, design, and painting. Their practice balances minimalism with Wabi-Sabi influences, drawing on the simplicity and spirituality of oriental aesthetics in dialogue with nature.
