Gordana Brousek

Born in 1962 in the former Yugoslavia, Gordana M. Brousek has lived in Switzerland since 1988. Working through an intuitive, layered process, she creates art that bridges structure and spontaneity, material presence and quietude. Drawing on her background in architecture and training as a federally certified construction manager, Brousek brings a refined awareness of composition, proportion, and spatial effects to her practice. Influenced by natural processes and the passage of time, her work engages with themes of change, memory, and imperfection. Brousek’s pieces have been acquired by collectors in Switzerland, the USA, the Czech Republic, and Serbia, and have appeared in exhibitions nationally and internationally.
