Influenced by New Realism, Neo-Dada, Ready Made, and Pop Art, Franck Rivoal creates visual works that combine painting, diverse materials, and autobiographical references. Raised amid the Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine flea market outside Paris, he developed an early appreciation for objects and art history. After discovering painting at 23, inspired by reading a biography of Maurice Utrillo, Rivoal—a self-taught artist—has since 2009 focused on unique pieces built around textile DNA and symbolic materials. His work has found collectors in France, Europe, and the United States. Rivoal collaborates with American lawyer and art agent Chandler Finley, as well as Bologna International, and is currently developing new projects in Miami.
