Daniel Pirrotta works across painting, drawing—both classical and digital—and stone sculpture. Based in Saintes, Charente-Maritime, following periods in Paris and Bordeaux, Pirrotta is self-taught and has established a long career spanning varied approaches. His practice has moved from early figuration through an extended engagement with lyrical abstraction, resulting in a body of work that resists clear classification as either figurative or abstract. Nature remains a central theme, approached through allusive forms that reflect on the tension between the fragility and persistence of life.
