Catherine le Roux is a French artist whose works have been exhibited nationally in numerous group and solo events, as well as in Germany. She believes that creativity allows freedom of expression which permits a pictorial escape. For le Roux, each composition is like a journey and when a canvas is finished, she has arrived at her destination. After years of devoting herself to the figurative, "the absentee imposed itself" and her artistic approach has been radically transformed.
