Aurélie Pellat combines design, visual arts research, and leatherwork to create collages and wall sculptures from salvaged materials such as leather, textiles, paper, and wood. Drawing on influences from geometric abstraction, minimalism, and Arte Povera, she assembles fragments into compositions that balance formal precision with organic movement. Her work preserves the marks and shapes of each material, highlighting the passage of time and the gestures involved in their making. Through cuts, seams, and assemblages, Pellat examines the persistence of materials and the memory of the hand, transforming everyday remnants into works where fragility and resilience meet. Originally from the French Riviera, she lives and works in Paris.
