Aline De Souza Lopes

Aline has painted since childhood, later expanding her creative practice to poetry, which she considers inseparable from painting. Working primarily in oil, she also uses watercolor, tempera, and acrylic. Originally from Brazil, she moved to Italy in 2010, where she earned a beautician’s qualification before completing a three-year evening art program in Milan. In addition to her work as a beautician, Aline dedicates her free time to painting, seeing both pursuits as forms of poetic expression. Her paintings are influenced by artists including Van Gogh, Klee, and Cézanne, and are characterized by vibrant color and a poetic approach to subject matter.
