Mehmet Yavuz works with pens, brushes, digital media, and his own body to create abstract compositions driven by political motifs and imagery drawn from fungal forms in the universe. His process, informed by a personal search for homelessness, generates dynamic works that capture fleeting moments and express a broad range of human emotion, from happiness to anger and pain.
