Maria Ruisi (b. 1983, Riga) is an artist, researcher, and the artistic director of the Abstract Art Gallery, established in 2010. Her sculptural abstractions emerge through a multi-stage process that layers acrylic, resin, and metallic pigments into three-dimensional reliefs, shaped by in-depth investigation of material and perception. Trained in fine arts and interior design, Ruisi has spent fifteen years developing singular surfaces and forms for contemporary residences, architectural settings, and private collections worldwide. She continues to produce new work daily from her studio in Riga.
