Michael Rehr-Hoffmann, né en 1957, est un artiste allemand qui a étudié le design de communication à l'Université des sciences appliquées au design de Hambourg. Pendant plus de 30 ans, il a travaillé comme graphiste dans divers domaines de la publicité et des relations publiques. Après sa vie professionnelle, il prend sa retraite et recommence à peindre en 2016. Un thème principal de ses œuvres est la nature morte, dans laquelle chaque objet a une signification et veut dire quelque chose au spectateur. Mais les personnes, individuellement et en groupe, jouent également un rôle central dans son art.
