Né en 1954 au sein d'une illustre dynastie d'artistes, le parcours de Rakhmet Redzhepov est un modèle d'évolution de l'impressionnisme contemporain. Ayant perfectionné son art sous la tutelle de son père, l'artiste Juma, et grâce à une formation académique rigoureuse en théâtre et en décoration, Rakhmet a développé un langage visuel unique qui fait le lien entre l'énergie vibrante de l'Orient et l'atmosphère raffinée de l'Europe du Nord.
Avec une carrière prolifique s'étendant sur plus de cinq décennies, Rakhmet a réalisé plus de 5 000 œuvres qui figurent aujourd'hui dans des collections privées du monde entier. De ses débuts dans l'animation chez « Turkmenfilm » à ses masterclasses en Finlande, son parcours l'a finalement mené sur les rivages historiques de Riga. Récemment honoré à la Biennale internationale « MARINA 2021 », Rakhmet continue de redéfinir le paysage maritime et urbain, utilisant sa technique emblématique de « lumière vibrante » pour capturer l'âme éphémère du monde.
